The Erath County Humane Society was founded on September 16, 1976 with the mission of providing some kind of control for the dozens of stray dogs and cats in the area. Since then, the Erath County Humane Society has cared for unwanted and lost animals, reunited lost pets with their owners; find homes for adoptable pets and investigate cruelties, taking the perpetrator to court when necessary to settle a case.
I am so grateful for the kind humans that cared for me while I was at the shelter. I know I was a handful at times when I would dump over my litter box but you still loved me just the same. I am enjoying life with my new family and spending my days lounging on the couch.
The humans were so nice and gave me lots of belly rubs and treats. I do miss playing with my shelter mates but I’m enjoying my new home with my new brother Buddy and sister Lucy. I have a big backyard to run around and lots of birds to chase.
